Tiana Byrnes

Tiana Byrnes is the owner of Twin Equipment and Tool Rentals in Goulais River, Ontario. The business is a one-stop shop for construction and forestry equipment, and they offer welding services. Tiana is Anishinaabe from the Michipicoten First Nation, and she strives to create jobs for her community. Her entrepreneurship is inspired by her family members, many of whom are business owners themselves. Tiana started Twin Equipment and Tool Rentals in 2015, naming the business in honour of her twin sons. Her business’s core values are safety, honesty, and community. In 2021, she competed in the Pow Wow Pitch, where she finished as a finalist.
