Sade Baron is the co-founder of Sade Baron, a high-performance body care brand that creates high-quality vegan body products made with nutrient-rich superfoods. Since 2016, Sade has operated the company alongside her daughter Rachel, who brings a branding and advertising background to the business. Sade’s idea for the company was motivated by her own experience with eczema. In order to treat her condition, she learned how to make botanical home remedies of coconut oils and plants from her great aunt, who inspired her lifelong interest in plants and their uses. Sade used these remedies to soothe Rachel as she was growing up, ensuring that her daughter always had solutions to her skincare issues. Sade has worked as a nurse and a midwife for over 35 years, and she inspired the company’s values of compassion and respect for their customers and the planet.
