Sahar Saidi

Fed up with an industry that would rather change than enhance her natural curls, Sahar developed a vision for a line of hair products designed specifically for curly hair. She set out with a $45 thousand loan from Futurpreneur and financing from a personal line of credit to start her own business. Four years later, Sahar is the CEO of LUS (Love Ur Self) Brands, valued at $200 million and ranked number 16 on Business Canada’s Top New Growth list in 2020. Her products are empowering women to rock their natural hair via direct online sales across North America and internationally.
