Samanntha De Coteau

Samanntha De Coteau is the founder of RooferGirl, a roofing contracting company that encourages women to join the trades. Samanntha is from Whitefish Lake, Alberta, and she is of Cree descent. She pitched RooferGirl at the Pow Wow Pitch in 2021, where she took home the People’s Choice Award. She also won the Alumni Prize at the 2022 Pow Wow Pitch. Since then, she has used the funds to expand into a new company called Summit Sisters Roofing, which brings together a team of woman roofers recruited and led by Samanntha. Having accumulated nearly a decade of experience in roofing, Samanntha is now a role model in the roofing industry. She resides in Niagara, Ontario.
