Sara Bingham

Sara Bingham is the founder of WeeHands Baby Sign Language Inc., an education service that mentors families, child care staff, teachers, and caregivers on infant and toddler interactions. Sara conducts research, designs curriculum, and executes training of 87 Instructors in North America through her WeeHands Instructors’ Academy. WeeHands Baby Sign Language was founded by Sara in 2001 and she operates the program in Waterloo, Ontario. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University, and a post-graduate diploma in Communicative Disorders Assistant training from Georgian College. Sara is an accomplished entrepreneur in the Canadian professional landscape. Along with her work at WeeHands Baby Sign Language Inc., she has been serving as the Associate Director of the Laurier Women Entrepreneurship Centre at Wilfrid Laurier University since 2020.
