Sarah Lockett

Sarah Lockett is the founder of the Ontario School of Ballet (OSB) and a highly accomplished dancer and dance educator. A graduate of prestigious institutions such as the Royal Ballet School and the Royal Academy of Dance in London, and the School of American Ballet in New York, she has also trained at the Canadian College of Dance and the School of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. In 1979, she founded OSB, a dance training institution that provides expert instruction for students of all ages, from recreational to pre-professional levels. With 37 years of experience, Sarah has guided thousands of young dancers on their journey to professional careers. She also founded Ontario Ballet Theatre, a professional touring company, and was Executive Director for over 30 years. Sarah and her companies have been awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Artistic Excellence and the Queens Diamond Jubilee Award.
