Shehreen Zaman

A passionate educator, associate actuary, and a social entrepreneur, Shehreen Zaman founded Math Project, an online learning system, in 2010 to “give back” the gift of education that had empowered her to obtain the Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation. Her motivation was to promote “out of the box” thinking among children by preparing them for international math contests. She believes math is an important life skill required by every child to become a problem solver of tomorrow. Shehreen is a lecturer at University of Toronto in the department of statistics and actuarial sciences.
