Shelby Weaver

Shelby Weaver is the co-founder of Makeway, Canada’s first sneaker boutique for women. Makeway’s purpose is to create a space for women in streetwear and sneaker culture, aiming to “make way” for the women they seek to empower. Shelby co-founded Makeway in 2020 with Abby Albino, a Toronto-based marketing professional. In addition to her work at Makeway, Shelby is the Director of Basketball Operations and Culture for the Toronto Raptors. She started her career in Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment in 2011, and she is a basketball coach. Before moving to Toronto, Shelby lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University.
