Sheneice Brown

Sheneice Brown is a 28-year-old Scarborough native and a proud Black woman and member of the LGBTQ+ community. She has used her love of travel to create Queer Queens Travel (QQT), a platform dedicated to planning and executing group trips for Queer Women of Colour. She became passionate about showcasing Queer Women of Colour after traveling and teaching abroad for several years, where she attended 2SLGBTQ+ events. Sheneice created QQT to ensure that queer women of colour feel safe abroad after noticing a difference while traveling as a queer Black woman. QQT organizes various trips worldwide that include excursions, community building, events, and accommodations for travelers. Awarded with the $10,000 grant for the Rise Up Innovation/Best Pivot during the COVID-19 category, Sheneice has focused on researching and creating an online community within the GTA and overseas.
