Sindy Gamelin is the Owner of Sin Boutique in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. The Indigenous-owned business sells women’s fashion accessories and clothing in inclusive sizing options at reasonable costs. Sindy always had a desire to be an entrepreneur, and after a 10-year career in day care services she decided to launch a home-based aesthetic salon which she operated for around eight years. Through conversations with her customers at the salon, Sindy saw an opportunity from the demand for fashionable accessories and clothing brands to be sold locally. Sindy was successful in securing exclusivity contracts for the region of Sorel- Tracy for brands such as Dex, Lola Jeans, Coco & Tashi, among many others.
