Sue had a long career as a photographer prior to starting her own business. She was the first female press photographer to ever work in Nova Scotia and has also worked as a freelance artist, running her own photography studio, and taking commercial clients. The nature of her work enabled her to develop a strong sense of independence required to be a successful entrepreneur. She founded Iris Booth, an automated photo studio that is “much more than a photo booth”. Using professional gear, custom white balanced lights, helpful posing tips, and an intuitive user interface, Iris Booth is making professional headshots more mobile and accessible.
