Vanessa LeBourdais

Vanessa LeBourdais is an experienced Executive Producer, Creative Director, and social entrepreneur with a background in the entertainment, education, and environmental industries, particularly in the interactive technology and media space. She is skilled in designing digital experiences that drive social change, especially for elementary-aged children, and is also a writer, director, producer, and composer. She is a lifetime Ashoka Fellow, which is a highly-vetted network of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs. She co-founded DreamRider Productions Society, which uses comedy and catchy songs to help children learn about environmental conservation through interactive digital programs. The program, Planet Protector Academy, launched in 2013, has been delivered to over a million children in over 350 cities in Canada and 11 other countries, and has led to positive environmental behavior change in families of participating children. Amongst LeBourdais other accomplishments, she is a YWCA Women of Distinction Nominee.
