Victoria Mierzwa is the co-owner of LOHN, a handmade scented candle company based in Toronto, Ontario. Along with her business partner Katerina Juskey, Victoria draws inspiration from her chemical engineering education and years of experience in the beauty industry to create high-quality, sophisticated candles at an approachable price. Victoria’s Polish background and her business partner’s half-Estonian and half-Lithuanian ancestry also influenced their unique scent collection. With a passion for scent and nostalgia, LOHN was launched in 2018 with four candles and has since grown to offer 15 different scents, made in small batches with essential oils, natural fragrances, and clean synthetic fragrances. Victoria is a recipient of the 2022 Business #StandWithOthers Prize awarded by Telus.
