So I’m in pre-production of my first feature film. It’s a dark comedy featuring a middle aged woman as the lead. We are currently in the financing portion. We have tried government grants, film funds, crowdfunding, and a film specific investor website without much progress. I also tried contacting distributors and international sales agents. Does anyone have any film connections or know any companies that would be interested in funding this film. We do have a budget worked out. We have two budgets. Our dream budget is $200,000 and our minimal budget is $50,000. We want to shoot in Hamilton, Ontario. I wanted to shoot this year, before winter, but early Spring next year is a possibility as well.
