Alexis Hekker

Alexis Hekker is a Métis artist and artisan in Cranbrook, British Columbia. She runs a small Etsy shop called Kootenay Willow Wool, where she hand-makes and sells beadwork jewelry, knitted and crochet works, and other Indigenous wearable art. Her business’s products can also be found on Shop Métis Online, an online shop and database for Métis businesses. Kootenay Willow Wool is also listed in the Native Women’s Association of Canada’s #BeTheDrum Indigenous Women’s Business Directory.
