Ania Wysocka

When Ania Wysocka started experiencing panic attacks as a student, her search for adequate support came up short. She decided to do something about that. In 2017, under her company, Simply Rooted Media, Wysocka created Rootd, a mobile app for anyone seeking relief from panic attacks and anxiety. So far, Rootd has had more than 600,000 downloads from 153 countries and has been ranked No. 1 for “anxiety and panic attack relief.” Wysocka, who plans to expand her reach in the coming years, has also been offering free subscriptions during the COVID-19 pandemic. In March 2021, Wysocka’s app was featured in Apple’s App Store for International Women’s Day. Currently, Wysocka serves as the program director for Alacrity Canada.
