Autumn Maxwell

Autumn Maxwell is the owner of Cold Comfort Ice Cream, a homegrown ice cream shop in Victoria, BC. Autumn started Cold Comfort Ice Cream in 2010. Her business’s motto, “doing whatever the hell we feel like since 2010,” points to their innovative flavours like Olive Oil with Balsamic-Honey Ripple. Autumn also makes flavours inspired by her own family, like Rosemary’s Baby, which is her mother’s favourite. Cold Comfort Ice Cream makes their products out of local ingredients like organic BC cream and fresh eggs from BC farms. Their ice creams are all hand-made and served in pints. In 2022, the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce recognized Cold Comfort Ice Cream as Business of the Year, 1-10 employees.
