After working in the commercial hog industry, Bonnie’s husband developed a dream of raising his own pigs. Bonnie surprised him with 3 of his own, a number that quickly grew. After experiencing early success raising pigs to market weight and breeding, they opened Spragg’s Meat Shop. Opening their shop allowed them to maintain full control over the product and keep the pork processing and marketing local. Bonnie and her husband are proud of their product, which they personally care for from field to table.
