Brandy Svendson

Brandy Svendson and her business partner co-founded Be the Change Group in 2012. They brought together a team of public health professionals, researchers, and creatives to address complex communication obstacles that come with presenting educational health advice and data to broader audiences. Effectively creating and translating high-value research in a human-centered way is at their focus to drive community engagement and the success of high-impact programs. Brandy has over 15 years of experience in the health, education, and environment sectors, working locally and internationally with numerous health and nonprofit agencies. She is an award-winning director, awarded for her work on The 30 30 Campaign, a history of HIV in Vancouver, and recipient of the 2022 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Social Change Award for International Impact.
