Claire Lam

Claire Lam is the Chief Technology Officer of loopt, a subscription platform for retail brands to run their own rental programs. The company offers its clients opportunities for increased revenue, customer loyalty, enhanced software, and environmental leadership. Claire holds a Bachelor of Engineering from York University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool. At loopt, she leads a team of technologists and oversees software development. She is focused on employee well-being as the CTO of her company. According to Claire, her greatest accomplishment to date is having an attrition rate of 4% over 10 years and having 82% of staff work with her again in the last decade. In 2022, Claire was the recipient of the IT World Canada’s Women in IT Award for Chief Information Technology Officer of the Year.
