Destinee Peter

Destinee took the reigns of Tangles Hair & Beauty Salon in Regina when she was just 21 years old. A member of Saskatchewan’s Carry The Kettle Nakoda Nation, Destinee provides employment to seven other hair stylists, five of which are also Indigenous women. She is a decorated stylist and brought home the International Indigenous Stylist of the Year award at the International Indigenous Fashion Week in 2020. She has expanded her business by offering new aesthetic services, including laser hair removal which alone constitutes 20% of her revenues. In 2021, Destinee expanded her salon, opening a second location in Moose Jaw.
