Diana Olson

Diana Olsen is the president and founder of Balzac’s Coffee Roasters, a coffee chain and bean roaster with 14 locations across Ontario. Inspired by her studies in french literature, Diana sought to bring the atmospheric cafe culture of France to Canada. After studying the craft of coffee roasting, Diana opened her first cafe in Stratford in 1996, featuring the French-inspired art and decor that are the brand’s signature flavour today. Diana continues to oversee all aspects of Balzac’s development, which was accelerated in part by Dragons Den’s Arlene Dickinson who partnered with Diana after her appearance on the show.
