Diane Goudie (MA, MEd, LLD) and Eleanor Moore (MA, MEd, LLD) are the Co-founders of The Linden School. After many years in both the public and private school systems, including positions as teachers and administrators at an established independent girls’ school, Eleanor and Diane grew concerned that these schools were not meeting the needs of today’s young women. The pair decided to start a school of their own and in 1993, The Linden School opened its doors to girls from Grades 4 to 9. Diane and Eleanor have been honoured for their work with the Women of Distinction Award by YWCA Toronto.
