Tiffani Young

With her beauty business Natural Butter Bar, Tiffani Young aims to change the hair care conversation surrounding black hair in the cosmetics industry. While mainstream cosmetics companies use ingredients that are harmful towards black hair, Natural Butter Bar uses natural ingredients that suit each customer’s individual needs. While she did not originally see entrepreneurship in her career, Tiffani identified the need for inclusion in the beauty industry and started her business in order to make affordable, necessary products for everyone. Her vision for her company is to be unique among cosmetics producers, aiming to diversify its products. For its success in personal care and sustainability, Natural Butter Bar won the New Business of the Year Award in 2022 from the Halifax Chamber of Commerce.
