Mallory Yawnghwe

Mallory Yanghwe describes herself as a social entrepreneur at heart, citing her commitment to fostering creative entrepreneurship and celebrating the magnificent accomplishments of Indigenous artists and entrepreneurs. She is the founder and CEO of Indigenous Box, a gifting company that allows its customers to “build a box” of products from Indigenous businesses across Canada. Her company has been featured on major media outlets like CBC News and the Toronto Star, and in 2022, she was honoured as Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year at the Canada Innovation and Entrepreneur Awards. Mallory is Cree from Onihcikiskowapowin, Saddle Lake First Nation #125 in Treaty Six Territory, and her entrepreneurial journey was inspired by her work as a regional representative for Indspire, a non-profit organization that invests in the education of Indigenous communities.
