Dr. Yabome Gilpin-Jackson

Dr. Yabome Gilpin-Jackson is an award-winning scholar, writer, and storyteller committed to imagining and leading the futures we want. She founded Supporting Learning & Development Consulting Inc. to facilitate transformative learning for leadership and development. Jackson has over 15 years of experience across the private, public and nonprofit sectors; her most recent role was as Director of the renowned Leadership and Organization Development at Fraser Health in BC. Jackson’s passion and expertise in coming up with transformative solutions to complex issues extend far and wide; she has worked with public service leaders in South Africa through the UNDP. In 2017, Jackson released We Will Lead Africa, an anthology series of everyday African leadership stories. She was also named International African Woman of the Year by Women4Africa.
