Michelle Leclair is the founder and CEO of Wolseley Kombucha, Manitoba’s premier kombucha brand. She discovered kombucha while attending a yoga festival in Hawaii and was so impressed with its health benefits that she decided to learn to brew it herself. Michelle started brewing kombucha part-time in her home kitchen in 2015 and soon found that she was being asked to brew it for friends, family, and her yoga teachers. This led her to launch her own kombucha brewery in 2016. In 2019, Michelle took the leap and opened Manitoba’s first kombucha taproom, where she has received a warm welcome from the community. Wolseley Kombucha is now available in over 80 retail stores and restaurants in Manitoba and Ontario. In 2021, Michelle was awarded the Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award (WEYA) by Women Business Owners of Manitoba.
