Edi Canedo

Edi Canedo is the founder and designer of CUCHARA Jewelry, a luxury jewelry brand that creates unique, culturally-inspired pieces using precious metals and stones. Edi was originally inspired by intricate vintage spoons that she found in thrift stores throughout Victoria, BC, where she lived at the time. While Edi’s designs have evolved beyond spoons, the name serves as a reminder of the brand’s roots. Together with her friend and collaborator Chloé Li-Chapman, Edi aims to create pieces for people who go beyond basic designs and love to explore new ideas. Although luxury is front and center in their designs, the brand remains grassroots, built from the ground up.
