Elana Rosenfeld is the CEO of Kicking Horse Coffee, a coffee company headquartered in Invermere, BC. Kicking Horse Coffee sustainably produces high-quality coffee, partnering with organic farms in Central and South America to deliver Fair Trade products. Elana started the business as a two-person operation in her garage in 1996, which has now expanded into a multi-million dollar company with over 120 employees. Kicking Horse Coffee preserves its origins of producing coffee in the Rockies, allowing customers to enjoy the mountain lifestyle when they visit the company’s café. Elana was originally inspired to start her coffee business when she attended McGill University in Montréal, where coffee culture was well-established. She has led Kicking Horse Coffee to significant success, being recognized by Great Place to Work in 2021 as one of the Best Workplaces Managed by Women.
