Emmanuella Michel is a Ph.D Candidate in Educational Technology at Laval University. She has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of health, education, and social services where she worked as a project manager specializing in the care of youth aged 13-25, with mild intellectual disabilities and severe behavioral challenges. Emmanuella had not only flourished in the fields of health, education, and social service, but entrepreneurship. She was selected among 100 content developers worldwide to participate in the Oculus Launchpad Bootcamp, where she developed and bootstrapped the alpha version of The Cogni XR Health Platform. This led her start-up to be incubated at the ACET National Bank accelerator. Emmanuella was selected as one of the 12 Canadian SheEO™ Ventures “Working on the World to-do-list” for her company’s global vision. In addition, her business was a recipient of the AMEX Blueprint-Backing BIPOC Businesses Grant of $10,000.
