Erica Daniels

Erica Daniels is a Cree/Ojibway producer, director, and entrepreneur. She is the Executive Producer and Founder of Kejic Productions, a production company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Kejic is an Anishinaabe word meaning “the sky,” given to Erica by Elder Dave Courchene Jr. According to Erica, her company’s name symbolizes that there are no limits to what can be dreamed and achieved. Kejic Productions invests in telling Indigenous stories through films, documentaries, and other types of videos. Erica is an experienced producer, having worked for the CBC and the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. In 2021, the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business honoured Erica with the Young Entrepreneur Award. She was also the winner of the Prairies Pow Wow Pitch in 2021.
