Erin Millar

Erin Millar is the Founder and CEO of Discourse Media, an award-winning digital media company. The Discourse provides community-powered journalism to underserved communities. Erin was a Bob Carty Fellow by Canadian Journalists for Free Expression, and Storyteller-in-Residence at Ashoka Canada. She’s reported from more than a dozen countries for Canadian and international publications, and her work has been translated into 20 languages and published in 34 countries. Erin is a Founding Trustee of the Uncharted Journalism Fund, and Board Member of the National Magazine Awards Foundation. Erin was named an AmEx Emerging Innovator and one of the top seven women-led ventures in Canada by SheEO.
