Jamie Goulet

Jamie Goulet is one of the three co-founders of Clan Mothers Healing Village and Knowledge Centre in Bélair, Manitoba. She started the organization with Elder Belinda Vanderbroeck and her mother, Elder Mae Louise Campbell in 2015. Before that, she worked with her mother in operating the Grandmother Moon Lodge, an Indigenous women’s land-based healing and educational village. Jamie is from the Ojibwa-Saulteaux Metis Nation, and she is an entrepreneur with a passion for innovating healing concepts for Indigenous women. Her organization Clan Mothers provides mid-term to long-term support for women who have been victims of multi-generational trauma, sexual violence, sexual exploitation, and human trafficking. Their treatment models incorporate Indigenous methodologies and knowledge, primarily referring to the Indigenous matrilineal model of healing. Jamie has written a number of news articles relating to Indigenous communities, all of which are published on the Clan Mothers website.
