Jennifer Commins is the founder and CEO of Pluck Tea, a tea company on a self-described mission to “fix restaurant tea”. Originally targeted as a supplier to restaurants, food services, and other commercial clients, Pluck was founded to improve the quality of offerings at food establishments. Armed with this vision, Jennifer became a tea sommelier, quit her day job selling furniture and visited local restaurants to pitch her product. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Jennifer pivoted her business model selling direct-to-consumer via ecommerce and was able to rehire nearly all of her Pluck team.
