Jenny grew up in rural Saskatchewan, watching her mother craft everything from clothes to home furnishings. Her mother passed along this creativity and interest in making, which led Jenny to open The Makehouse. Located in downtown Victoria, The Makehouse is a community hub for sewers, quilters, and those interested in crafting and provides workspace for crafters to work on projects. Her sewing studio and retail store offers private sewing instruction and workshops, as well as sewing machine repair, fabric, threds, and other materials for sewing and needlework.
