Katerina Juskey is the co-owner of LOHN, a premium candle company. She and her business partner Victoria Mierzwa met in high school and both graduated from the same university with degrees in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, they both found that traditional roles in engineering were not for them and decided to pursue their passion in the beauty industry. Katerina went on to study perfumery in France at Guerlain’s Perfumery School and later worked in R&D for brands such as Estée Lauder and MAC. With a passion for scent and nostalgia, LOHN was launched in 2018 with four candles and has since grown to offer 15 different scents, made in small batches with essential oils, natural fragrances, and clean synthetic fragrances. Katerina is a recipient of the 2022 Business #StandWithOthers Prize awarded by Telus.
