Karen Chovan

Karen Chovan is the founder and CEO of Enviro Integration Strategies Inc., a professional services company specializing in environmental risk management and waste reduction. Karen has over 20 years of experience in the field of mining waste management and sustainability advisory. She is a highly strategic and innovative leader with a strong ability to bring together data, information, and people to solve complex environmental challenges and drive transformational change within organizations. Karen is also the Chair of the CIM Environmental and Social Responsibility Society (ESRS), where she works to promote more sustainable practices across the industry. Throughout her career, Karen has successfully led teams in complex projects and delivered results, including securing regulatory approval and saving millions of dollars for Syncrude Canada and Cameco, one of the largest mining operations in Canada.
