Kayli Dale

Kayli Dale is the co-founder and CEO of Friendlier, a company that provides environmentally friendly packaging to food companies. She is passionate about the environment and strives to use her engineering background to better the planet. Kayli holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where she met her co-founder Jacqueline Hutchings. The two developed the idea for their business during their studies abroad in Sweden, where environmental sustainability is a higher priority in Swedish culture. Within 2 years of its foundation in 2020, Friendlier has supported over 150 businesses across Ontario, garnered the support of industry experts and leading accelerator programs, and won the BMO Celebrating Women Grant in 2022. The two women were also featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2023.
