Leisa Hirtz is the Founder and Director of Women’s Global Health Innovations. Based in Toronto, Leisa’s startup is pioneering research and development of menstrual, sexual and reproductive health products. Her goal is to provide women and girls with accessible, affordable, and sustainable sanitary products for menstrual, sexual, and reproductive health. Her primary product is an antibacterial menstrual cup that allows for menstrual hygiene management in areas where clean water is in short supply, which can also double as a contraceptive device.
