Lianna-Genovese

Lianna Genovese

The McMaster School of Biomedical Engineering is the alma mater of Lianna Genovese, CEO and Founder of ImaginAble Solutions. In 2018 during her early pursuit of the bachelor’s degree, Lianna founded ImaginAble Solutions, which creates assistive devices for people living with impaired motor movement. Lianna’s own encounters with people living with cerebral palsy encouraged her to start her company and further the advancement of her product, Guided Hands. What started as a school project has since been tested by over 150 neurologists, occupational therapists and patients living with various neurological disorders. Lianna’s growing success has been recognized both nationally and internationally, including the Global Innovation Award by the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards in 2021, and the BMO Celebrating Women Grant in 2022.
