Lysiane is the co-founder of Blanc de gris, a mushroom production company in Montréal, Québec. She started the company with her best friend Dominique Lynch-Gauthier in 2015, with whom she shared a dream of running a mushroom farm. They came up with the idea of a mushroom production process that uses food by-products after they saw the extent of food waste in Montréal. Lysiane has experience in the food and hospitality industry. She runs Blanc de gris to contribute to a circular economy, prioritizing eco-responsibility and quality products. Her company has been recognized by Impact Canada, who placed Blanc de gris as a finalist in the Food Waste Reduction Challenge (Business Models Streams) in 2022.
