Marie-Christine Masseteau

Marie-Christine Masseteau is the founder of 1001 Pages, a business that focuses on writing, proofing, and editing services, with a particular emphasis on helping women executives and entrepreneurs gain recognition through business awards. She believes that more women’s stories need to be told, and that by recognizing the contributions of women leaders, future generations can be inspired to follow in their footsteps. In 2015, she wrote her first award application for a client, which won, leading to a shift in how she viewed her business and what she could achieve. As her business grew, she recognized the need for more women to gain visibility, which led her to create the Elite Awards Program in 2016. In 2017, the program had winners at all three competition levels: regional, provincial, and national. Marie is no stranger to awards herself, in 2021 she was awarded the Prix Excelor in the Microentrepreneur category by The Gatineau Chamber of Commerce.
