Marissa Grootes was just ten years old when she discovered she had a knack for organization. Years later, Grootes is the founder and CEO of STIL Classics, a female-run company featuring organizational products that empower women to organize their lives and be their best selves. The year before she founded STIL, Grootes quit her job and then used her savings to invest in the production of planners for the upcoming year. In 2019, Grootes was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis but hasn’t allowed her condition to slow her down in the least. Instead, she’s chosen to push through her health challenge to grow STIL Classics’ revenue by 150 percent each month. For her contributions and her relentless dedication to beating the odds, Grootes was awarded the 20 On the Rise award.
