Megan Jackman is the owner and designer of Ragmaw Design House, a Canadian brand based in Newfoundland and Labrador. She established the company in 2013, which has since grown into a reputable brand. Megan is renowned for her unique design and production techniques that combine style and durability. Her goal is to create bags that are visually appealing and durable. Megan was born in Newfoundland, where she spent most of her childhood learning to sew and gain leatherwork skills from her grandparents. She later became a pharmacist but left the profession to reconnect with her love of fabrics. She currently designs fabrics and new bag structures from her office in downtown St. John’s and serves as the CEO of Ragmaw Design House Inc. Jackman is a recipient of the 2021 NLOWE Trendsetter Award.
