Alisha McFetridge is the inventor and co-founder of Rainstick, a recirculating shower that saves on energy and water. Passionate about climate change and the environment, Alisha noted that other water-friendly options like low- flow showerheads compromised the shower experience. In contrast, Rainstick maintains high water pressure that is key to a relaxing shower. It uses a water filtration system to remove harmful bacteria and viruses from the recirculating water, creating a safe, environmentally conscious shower. Alisha won first place at the Fierce Founders Pitch competition to help develop and launch the product online, and is now accepting pre-orders.
