Mélanie Paul

Mélanie Paul is President of Inukshuk Synergie and Co-President of Akua Nature. She has been working in the family business in Mashteuiatsh for 18 years. Mélanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in social work from Laval University and graduated from the École d’Entrepreneurship de Beauce in 2015. Involved, Mélanie successively served as Vice-President of the Ilnu Economic Development Society, Co-President of the Roberval Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was successively an Ambassador for the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region as part of the Conseil du patronat du Québec’s Prosperity Quebec campaign. In 2018, she won the Entrepreneur of the Year award presented by the Conseil du Patronat du Québec. Wearing her identity loud and clear, Melanie strives to change the way people perceive Indigenous people in business.
