Meryl Cook

Meryl Cook has a professional history of wearing many different hats. Having worked for over 20 years as a homeopath, in management consulting, her love for art and writing has motivated her to create a service fusing it all for the corporate world. As founder of Meryl Cook Engagement by Design, she began facilitating hands-on leadership and team-building workshops centered on rug hooking, one of her favorite pastimes. Together in teams, she would lead employees through the process to create a rug design representative of their corporate vision. Her business also offers virtual workshops focused on self-healing by helping people increase joy and self-compassion. Due to her success and experience, Meryl has mentored aspiring entrepreneurs, like herself, and helped them grow their businesses. Meryl is the recipient of the 2021 Scotiabank Volunteer of the Year.
