Michelle Savoie

Michelle Savoie is the co-owner of Voyageur Wilderness, a tour and hospitality business in Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario. Voyageur is a family business run by Michelle and her husband Dale. Voyageur Wilderness is versatile, offering canoeing adventures, lodge rooms, and tours and programs. The business offers Indigenous experiences through their canoe packages. Michelle is Métis Francophone from Saint Boniface, Manitoba. In her business, she aims to stay connected with her Métis teachings and traditions. In 2021, she was a semi-finalist in the Cross Canada Indigenous “Share Your Roots” Competition. In the same year, she was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, while her business was awarded the Eco-Responsible Company Award by the Société économique de l’Ontario (SEO Ontario).
