Nicole Camphaug

Nicole Camphaug is an Inuit fashion designer living in Iqaluit, Nunavut. She is originally from Rankin Inlet, an Inuit hamlet in Nunavut, where she learned to sew from her mother, aunt, and grandmother. Nicole is the co-owner and designer of ENB Artisan, an Inuit fashion brand in Nunavut. Nicole designs sealskin-covered shoes, fine jewelry, and other contemporary Inuit fashion items. She experiments with natural materials in her pieces, finding new ways to make traditional items. ENB Artisan also strives to be eco-responsible by reusing and recycling, especially since Nunavut does not have recycling facilities. In 2021, Nicole represented ENB Artisan at the Territories Pow Wow Pitch, where she finished as a semi-finalist.
