Nita Tandon

In 2009, Founder and CEO Nita Tandon stepped away from a 20-year career in pharmaceutical science to become a mom. That same year, Health Canada issued a ban on BPA in baby bottles, and also declared “BPA a toxic substance to human health and the environment”. Concerned that BPA was not yet banned in lunch containers in Canada, Nita was keen to find food containers without any hormone-disrupting chemicals. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, she created them. DALCINI™ Stainless was launched in 2015 to become an award-winning maker of durable, chemical-free, eco-friendly housewares.
